Our Boathouse

Boathouse

The 1TSS Boathouse is the hub of many of our activities. The troop's rowboats, kayaks, sailboats, and camping equipment are housed here. The Boathouse is also used for short camps during the school term.

The Boathouse is located at 181 Western Main Road, Cocorite between Peake's Gas Station and Peake's Technologies. Continue on Audrey Jeffers Highway past the stadium. After the traffic light at the END of the highway you will pass Peake's Technologies and immediately after that and before the gas station is the Boathouse. If you arrive at or pass the gas station you would have passed the entrance. See the map below.

Mission Statement

First Trinidad, founded in 1922, is a Sea Scout group that abides by the law and promise of the Scout Movement as laid down by its late founder, Lord Baden Powell. First Trinidad strives continuously to provide the optimum environment in which our young members can effectively maximise their potential, cultivate their talents, and strengthen character. We will fashion an admirable group of next generation leaders by exacting paramount discipline, promoting community service, nurturing team spirit, and imparting sound moral values. It is in supporting their academic pursuits, encouraging their spiritual growth, deepening their sense of commitment, and challenging their physical endurance that we will graduate upstanding and responsible citizens.
