Scout of the Year Award 2008/9

Njere Edwards was awarded the Scout of the Year Challenge trophy at St. Mary's College's Prize giving Ceremony on October 29, 2009 after being named "First Trinidad Sea Scout of the Year: 2008/9."

A young man who aims for excellence in all his activities, Njere also was also awarded an Additional Trinidad & Tobago Scholarship based on the results of the 2009 CAPE examination results. Njere is an excellent example of what the troop hopes to achieve in all the scouts.

RED CROSS FIRST AID CERTIFICATION

The following fourteen scouts completed the Red Cross First Aid course on July 15 & 16, 2009 and received International certification:
Andrew Agard, Matthew Akin, Mark-Anthony Blackman, Aaron Douen, Jean-Luc Duval, Hugh Hoford, Aishwar Kalloo, Andre Mohammed, Edward Mootoo, Dean Nanton, Troy Sammy, Anderson Thompson, Kester Wade, Matthew Woon Sam

Justin Hay received the President Award and Keeshan Ramkissoon the Chief Scout Award on June 27, 2008 from the President of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago.

INVESTITURE 2010

The Investiture Ceremony was held on Sunday May 02, 2010 at the Boathouse. The following recruits were invested:
